Unity House was fully renovated and restored in 2023. The renovation has retained the character of the original buildings while providing modern comfort.

Having been unused for decades, everything in the house has been done from scratch including new roofs, plumbing and electricity, the laying of traditional stone flooring in the 220 sq mtr piazzale, a new pool and the outdoor areas.

All the work has been done in a manner which is fully compliant with local building regulations and permits - seems strange to have to mention this but it is a crucial and unusual point. Foreigners buying property in Puglia who attempt their own restoration are usually met with surprises, often unresolvable or at least difficult and expensive to overcome.
